10 years of US

Jul 21, 2011 by rmunoz in The Word, Uncategorized

This past May marked 10 years of US. UnNamed Servant started out a three-piece groove-rock band out of Nashville, TN. Gregg and Rob, originally from Southern California, and Paul from Minnesota, the three starting touring venues all around the US from California to Florida picking up US followers along the way. 19 year old Skylar was one of them. He started out running sound for US and just never went home. It was 2007 that band decided it was time for a fourth and Skylar naturally fit right in (he had played drums for a band formerly known as powdered toast under the alias disco stu) . Since then the band has developed their sound to fit into the pop/rock genre while keeping to their groove roots. 10 years has produced 4 studio albums, 4 international tours, thousands of CD’s sold, and too many stories to count. So here’s to 10 more years!

Indian Paul and Nu-Music

Jul 19, 2011 by rmunoz in The Word

As well as being an awesome drummer, Paul loves Indian people. The next 3 weeks he’s going to be hosting a trip for 20 college students to see parts of India that most never get to see. They’ll be riding on the trains, visiting with Indian friends, and even making some village stops to encourage the poor and meet some physical needs. The rest of the band is recovering from the accident and already grabbing guitars to start cranking out some new tunes. Stay tuned…
